Walking around looking for parts yesterday and was very surprised to see this. All I had was the cell phone cam.

Is this a Strosek? It almost looks like 928 rear wheel arches.

Wow,

That is truly unique. Not a bad job of combining elements. It looks almost factory. Very interesting.

No one was around the car, I waited a little and went back i few times but I could never find the owner. The wheels looked great in person.

The interior looked stock, went to try to open the door but no handles There was a sign laying in the back seat saying a little about the conversion, but you couldnt read much

The rims reminds me of Lamborghini wheels. It always makes me think of the Countach, so for that reason alone i will never put them on my car (unless it's a Countach ). They are good looking though, but maybe a bit 80's?

Car belongs to Rich Tokar in North PA and he has an arrangement with a Travel firm to use his car for their advertising. He would probably consider selling it if the price was right.

Just spoke to Rich and he confirmed that Sundance Travel is using his car for advertising purposes. They have a contest "win a new car" where the winner selects a new car, which will be awarded at the end of this year. It is possible that winner would have selected his 95 Yellow Strosek but then Sundance would have to negotitate price and purchase car from Rich. He did indicate that he would sell the car now if the offer was right.

By the way, his Strosek still has less than 8,000 miles on the odometer. I thought my 12,900 miles was low but Rich may have the lowest mileage 968 out there.

when i was there, they said they were auctioning off that car - interesting - i had stopped to ask about it, just out of curiosity, and that's what the girl at the table said - i didn't want the car, so i didn't buy a ticket, but still i thought it was interesting

there are a few cars with less than 4k on them, so both of us are out of luck on that one - sitting still only hurts them anyway - every belt and hose was shot on the 14k mile always garaged car i picked up xmas before last - had to replace almost everything rubber in the car, as the parts had aged out - might as well drive the thing and enjoy it, since the parts are going to go bad just from time anyway

Yes.

M030 Speed Yellow Coupe, had somewhere under 6K miles when he sold it a few years ago if I remember correctly. I believe he sold it to a collector, but I am not certain.
