Valve cover needed
#1

Hello all - I've already got an intake manifold and fuel rail cover on the way, and now I need to score a used, and hopefully cheap, 968 valve cover. These pieces will be powdercoated silver and swapped in at some point to replace the ugly bare aluminum ones on my '94. Email me at surfaceactive@yahoo.com if you've got one for sale (or if you just want to donate it!), thanks!

maybe - i haven't decided yet, based on 2 things:

1. did mine stop leaking?

2. do i want to swap it out for the one on the white car?

once i answer those questions, i see no reason i would not part with the spare one i have

Thanks Flash - Hey I keep hearing about this mythical 'white car'. Does it see the light of day? Is it running? Inquiring minds want to know!

car runs perfect and looks perfect - i think it's just about to cross the 20k mile mark

lol - i already replaced nearly everything rubber - i did most of it before it even came out here - i am worried about the head gasket and the flex dampener though - i have to go back and see when we got it - i may be due for belts already, even though there are only about 6k miles on them

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a 22K mile Amazon Green over deviating Black/Marble Gray, Tiptronic, Cabriolet (black top) with heated seats currently in my posession. It needs a little TLC but then it will be for sale and preliminary indicators are that it will be at a very good price. I'll post a for sale thread in the proper location when the time comes. I need to have a conversation with the owner before disclosing all the details.

Back on topic, I have a valve cover available that's in perfect condition for powder coating as it's losing parts of it's finish in a few places. I have no clue what it's worth but if you'd like to get a dialogue going, let me know. I was planning on just hanging on to it to do something similar, but I'm willing to part with it.

I want a valve cover to play with. If bombfactoty doesn't jump PM me and we'll talk. I'll respond to the caliper powder coating thread also. Thanx

Yeah let me know, Flash, since we're local. And then chudson can grab the one from Darryl.

And remember, once I get my 3 pieces powdercoated and installed, I'll then have the complete set of originals that I won't need...
