Why not just drive a Hyundai or a KIA if you're not going to drive a Porsche you actually own? I bought mine 2 years ago and I've put 15,000 miles on it since and I've been gone on business 14 months of that time period. I take very good care of it but drive often and I thoroughly enjoy every mile.

I see quite a few in the DC/Baltimore area.

Define "quite a few"....LOL I rarely see another one on the road and I know where most of them in this area are. I just met a guy who is practically my neightbor who has a pristine 92 Slate Grey Coupe that he has owned since new with about 60K on it. I saw the car two times and this most recent and second time, I waited for him to come out of the store and we had a great chat. Of course, I was in my Audi A4 Wagon......

Honestly, I cannot compare as I've never "popped that cherry."
The real reward is seeing how well that German engineering is.
Granted I've done some modifications but outside that, just normal maintenance is keeping my baby going.
My goal is to reach 300k before: gas prices, an accident or a new law prevent me from doing so.

On Thanksgiving morning at 10:43 am, I saw a black coupe on Point Reyes Petaluma Road at Nicasio Valley Rd (along Nicasio Reservoir in Marin County). Second 968 I've seen this year.
