Is it immoral to lie to get a job?
#1

I was pondering this question as I gazed over a blatantly forged resume of a candidate I interviewed today. Is it wrong to lie to get a job? Who hasn't exagerrated there skill set to "mold" themselves into a dream candidate for a position? I asked myself these introspective questions as I sat entranced by this girls large breasts, I mean eyes. After all she has a family to feed right?

My predecessor had become known for his hiring practices at my job; I was finishing up his interviews since his departure. My customer service section, nicknamed the "Rack Room" is manned (no pun intended), by women who are pleasantly endowed. This new candidate would make a lovely addition to the team, but yet I find myself struggling to come to grips with her willingness to deceive, complicated by her almost cavalier display of skin, which was...quite intoxicating. I began to become a little hot so I lowered the temperature 3 times during her interview. Just as I thought, she had no bra. Obviously a ploy to draw my attention away from her absurdly inadequate resume. It worked. I began to think of ways I could abuse my power as her boss to force her to like me. "Business" lunches, late nights, cramped quarters....She was perfect, except she kept doing this really annoying thing...talking. That is definitely her weakness. There is a reason why beauty is found in peaceful landscapes and not noisy cities.

Even though she wasn't mute and her resume was, well, inadequate, she bent over backwards to get the job, so she will be working under me for the next few days. She is lucky to have such a hands on manager such as myself who weighs all facets of the prospective candidate in the proper proportions.

Ego, that was one of the funniest posts I've read in a long time.

I'd venture to say that of course its wrong to lie on your resume, but if you didn't lie, then some other liar would get the job....so I say go for it <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

But, I would never hire her - asking for way too much trouble.

while that was funny, and i can appreciate the joke, on a serious side (read as "tight ass"), (stepping up on soap box now, so indulge me for a minute) i wouldn't hire her because she lied - furthermore, i would be remiss if i didn't check her, or any other candidate, out fully and discover such lies - it's sad that this kind of thing happens - as a society, we should step up and police each other better - this is what leads to people "getting away with things" when they or we know they are wrong - "they did it, so i should be able to" - it's still wrong, plain and simple

something to think about: "all that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"
