so we had a wonderful downpour of a day today, but on the brighter side, ken and bill stopped by - this was the first time i had met bill and seen his car - very nice ride - he's going to have a lot of fun
i had just finished figuring out a thump sound in ken's car, and making some adjustments to quiet it down (turns out his new motor mounts and transaxle mount were causing the resonator to hit the saddle bracket above it) - then we heard the tell-tale sound of a 968 pull up (bill had called a bit earlier to see if he could stop by) - he had just gotten his car out of the shop after having blown a head gasket on the drive home from where he purchased it in vegas (how much would that suck?) - i was looking forward to meeting him, as he lives very close to me
this is a very nice 718 94 with a B&B exhaust and 18" twist wheels - here are some shots:
after he left here and we corrected his tire pressure from mid 20s to 36 and corrected his throttle cable - with his new found power and handling, he got a little happy, fishtailed it a couple of times and then spun it on sunset blvd- the kids watching apparantly loved it - no injuries and no wreck
woohoo!!
