Jeff968 new cab color?????
#21

It's not every day that a new "special" 968 shows up on the scene. Yes, I have the car but I had to drive it straigth into storage . I can't wait to transfer the plates and start getting her up to 100%. But my Amazon car must go first so I'm being disciplined. I'm getting a lot of interest on the car so I'm optimistic that it will go soon. Stay tuned.....

If I had to guess and since I started this I would go with....one of these

Raspberry - pink metallic

Rubystone red - Pink solid

Amaranth violet - Purple solid

Amathyst - Dark purple metallic

Violet - Purple metallic

depending on what you have found - all of these are unique and I think as a cab vs coupe they work very well (the extra roof top color could be a bit much)...

and Amaranth violet is my guess but its definitely one of the above .

Sam,

Good point about some of these colors on a coupe. They could be "too much" but maybe not. I saw a amathyst cab at the Hershey parade a few years ago. It also had an amathyst top and a matching amathyst interior. Wow!!
I don't have a clue but if you find a low mileage maritime blue or a speed yellow cab I would gladly trade you my mint 25k mile guards red/black cab! My top three would be:

1. maritime blue

2. speed yellow

3. signal green
SB, is this your "cup of tea"? (see attached)

Not mine but I saw it was your number 1 so I thought you would like the photo. Very cool car (although we know flash is giggling at it and the owner) and a great color. My new car is a factory 403 car (17"s), thank goodness.

lol - don't feel bad - you have to get banned from rennlist for speaking positively about rs barn to join the truly exclusive club - it's actually been rather funny - you know what they say "if they're out to get you, you must be doing something right"

no worries - we're getting jackets made next week

We're all part of the secret click, it's not like there are a lot of us 968ers out there. You guys are all great and I respect you and your cars. The only people that know about my new car are people that had to know to help me with the purchase. I'm working on the web page with all the details. My Amazon car is scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday. Fine, I won't keep you guys in suspense much longer, let me get some photos over the weekend and I'll post them Sunday night. I hope everyone likes the car, I sure do. Stay tuned.
