Jack stand position
#1

Can someone offer some guidance on jack stand position when the entire car is lifted. If we lift from the jacking points where is the best (safest) position for the jack stands, both front and rear? Any pics would be helpful.

I'd like to know where jack stands can be put safely. The link in this thread appears to be dead. Can someone help?

Also, are hockey pucks or wood blocks needed between the stands and those points?

Get yourself one of these:

Fits up in the jacking points front and rear and fits in the cup on a floor jack. Not only protects your car but it makes positioning the jack much easier because you can see it without getting on your hands and knees.
