Maybe I'll wait until they put this one on sale ; hoping for a 10 % or even a dare-to-dream 20 % discount , and then I'll jump on it, LOL.

Sure hope it's - beside stunning - also bullet proof, fire resistant and has a built-in bar with women and everything. Oh, and a boat.

The Naples shoulders are so Mafiosi. Kevlar lining may actually be an option.

Dang, I just got back from Naples and now I find out zI could have gotten a new bespoke suit there. Would have saved me a side trip to Saville Row.

I bought four Kiton suits and two jackets in tne early 90s when they were a mere $ 3 K or so for the suits and less than $ 2 K for tne jackets . Nowadays I don't think you can get an off-the-rack Kiton suit for much less than $ 7 K , and their jackets start around $ 4 K . I looked at a pair of slacks in their San Francisco boutique which had a tag of $ 2,700. Yikes that's one pair of pants ! Eh, I have better use for my money now, lol. But I always preferred the Neapolitan "soft shoulder" tailoring ( Kiton , or, Isaia ) as opposed the the more structured Roman style ( Brioni suits for example ) . A soft tailored jacket and not wearing a tie is my definition of CASUAL attire, lol, ..to others casual translates to sweat pants and sneakers . Slobs. But hey, I'm not judging .. :-)

Nearly $55,000 USD for a suit. That's just insane.

DS you are judging but it's ok because you are absolutely correct. Although that might be called business casual!

" business casual " here in good ole' SILLY-con valley takes on an entirely different dimension ; it's gotten to the point where distinguishing $ 200 K / yr. engineers, or C-level execs , or multi-millionaires ( the latter may encompass both , lol ) from the homeless and panhandlers could be quite a challenge. Funny, not such a long time ago if you walked into a Porsche dealership, much less a Ferrari or Rolls Royce dealer while wearing a rumpled tshirt, jeans and sneakers every salesperson would simply ignore you . Even if you told them you have every intent of buying a car that day, you may have been met with a " - are you sure you're not looking for the Honda used car lot down the street ? " reply .. Now the salespeople realize that any of those slobs can not just afford the top of the line Porsche in your showroom, but some may be able to buy the whole dealership :-( .

Jos. A. Banks has dress shirts that retail for $87.50...I wait for the buy 1 get 2 free sales a couple of times a year.

My next life will be lived in draw string cotton pants and T-shirt, or hoodie (evening wear).
