]The RS Barn 968 RS runs-finally. For the first time since 97 this car lives.

After a race in Kohn Austria in 97 the car was shipped to the US. It was then dissasembled. After a years restoration the car finally fired up this weekend. Turn on key, start pump 1 and 2, hit start button. Some initial electrical gremlins caused a no spark situation. When that was ironed out the car fired but ran rough and rich. The fuel pressure was set at 100lbs! We set it to 45lbs and bingo, she idles and everthing.

I need to get cooling system hooked up and exhaust completed and its of to the dyno for break in and tuning.

Off to Pocono May 20th for some laps.

Had a discussion today with flash about starting setup of fpr @45=3bar. I got injectors from Marren who recommended a Bosche 55 lb injectors. Marren said these were very versital injectors that would handle from 300 to 600p. They really liked the 30' spray pattern from low to high rpm. This helps with great combustion at all engine speeds which equals great p. He also sells the Seimans but says they have an non existant spray pattern at low rpm.

The other thing the Bosche injectors do well is respond to increases in fuel pressure. Marren says they will perform well from 30 to 100 psi. That gives great tuning options.

We will do dyno tuning in next week or so after I get some plumbing and exhaust completed.

P.S.--When you take her to the track, maybe you could capture her on video to share with us. That would be fantastic!
