Is Pete from RS Barn is on holiday?
#1

Hi,

I have ordered a heat shield and Stage 1 chip from Pete about two weeks ago. The last I heard from Pete was that he shipped the parts and he will send me a tracking number. This has been over a week ago already and he is not repsonding to my emails. I have no tracking number so I have no idea when these things will arrive at my home. Since I need to pay import tax, I really need to know when the parts will arrive so that I can be home to pay the extra charges.

Is he on holiday? This order was a test drive to see if I could place an order for the clutch and exhaust system...but since this is not going too well, i might have to find a supplier here in europe.

Not happy

Regards,
Johann

Busy time of year for Pete. Between the Hershey Gathering and the beginning of race season he's buried.

If Pete says he shipped, he did...no reason to doubt it.

I'll call him tomorrow and follow up for you.

I've had the same issue in the past (and Belgium is almost The Nederlands) --> but at the end everything worked out quit fine and I'am very happy with the goods from RS Barn (especially his stage 2 chip with header).
Biggest problem = declaration at customs in Belgium

be patient and good luck

I've been putting off taking my car up North to Pete myself. His last words to me in Nov, was now is the time. Had it all worked out for Dec but things feel apart. Man I wish I found a way to make that trip. He explained to me how busy the race season is once things get rolling. I'm still dropping off the car but will obviously have a longer wait. But thats OK. As long as its right.

I was waiting on updated heats shields and I am busy preparing a car for fabrication of rollcage. Working nights etc
My biggest problem with shipping to Europe is filling out customs forms and taking to another location to ship. It does take a few extra days

I can vouche for the customs crap. I handle all shipping for my company. Customs BS and paperwork seriously stinks. And if you think Europe is bad- Canada and Puerto Rico are exponentially worse IMO.

Pete- do you have an account with either FedEx or UPS? If you do, they can handle shipments quite well. I would recommend FedEx as they are really easy to use and will come get the packages for you. Also, I've got another tidbit for you which I'll share in private regarding FedEx...

My stuff arrived this afternoon. Yea!

Pretty cool, Pete even gives you a shirt so you can work on the car without getting your own clothes dirty.

P.S. I had ordered my stuff last Monday.
