Introduction
#1

1993 Cabriolet 3rd owner but prior owners had no idea of what they had and so my first project was a lot of "deferred maintenance". I had been looking for a 968 cab for a long time.

My other Porsche is a 1964 356C that I purchased new; so I have been pushing Porsches for quite a while. In 2006 I visited the Factory and managed to gain access to the part of the factory that was rebuilding customers' cars. Someone drive a 968 Cabriolet into the parking lot. As both of us saw this car come into the lot, one of the factory workers said to me "this is the best car Porsche ever made". That's all I needed to start my quest.

This is my first open car. Why did I wait so long?

Just wait until you get all the bugs shook out and you will be amazed at how much fun these cars are. We have a lot of resources both written and in the form of resident experts so , ask away!

Chris Lennon is a regular contributor here and the Colorado contingent seems to be growing, lots of opportunities to meet some serious Porschephiles.

Welcome!
