Introduction

Hello. I am new to the Forum. I live in New England and am looking for a 968 cabriolet. I currently have a 911Sc and an empty garage. What's the saying..."nature abhors a vacuum"? I've always liked the balance of the 968 and have decided to increase my car collection from one to two. I hope to learn more about the 968 from the Forum as I look for a car. Garygw

Well, after looking for about four months I have found a 1992 Cabriolet, 6 speed with about 17k on it. I just picked it up and really enjoy the ride. My next task will be to replace the original tires. Although this car is 19 years old, it feels like a very contemporary car. My 911 Sc drives and feels it's age so the 968 is a pleasant change.

Congratulations! Pictures of such a low mileage car are practically mandatory.

How can you only put 17k on a 1992 car. [Image: blink.gif]

Yes, the recent low-mileage finds are pretty mind-boggling. It's not as though these are incredibly rare and valuable cars, like that Miura I saw weekend before last with 15,000 kilometers.

Before you drive this car, please make sure that you are up on all maintencance, particularly belts (Timing and Balance Shaft). There are a great deal of time, no mileage parts that must be maintained to avoid catastrophic failures.

That said, you have found a unicorn...best of luck, and let's see some pics
