Introduction
#1

Many thanks to the nice people who run the 968 Forum for this opportunity.  I live in Los Angeles, CA.  I am the proud owner of a 1994 968 Tiptronic Cabriolet.  I have owned this wonderful and distinctive car for over 20 years.  It was originally leased from Beverly Hills Porsche Audi.  I purchased it at Beverly Hills Porsche Audi after it was returned at the end of the 2 year lease.  My 968 is metallic black with a gray interior.  It is in very good original condition, the only difference from factory being the chrome wheels (somehow they didn't get replaced with the silver painted wheels when I bought the car).  The paint is mostly original.  The top is original (new back plastic window) as is the interior with the exception of the driver's seat, which has been redone.  Everything still works perfectly except the radio display.  The factory build quality of this car never ceases to amaze me.

After more than 20 years, it's starting to show it's age somewhat, although I have been extremely diligent about maintenance and repairs.  I think it's time to let someone else enjoy this piece of Porsche history and will likely be listing it for sale quite soon.

It has been a delight to own this vehicle.  People always want to know what kind of car it is and invariably are surprised to see the engine in the front.  There are still a few around here in Los Angeles.

Welcome,

Maybe you found us in time to re-energize your desire for ownership...most of us would never let our babies go...

Yes, you might want to wait a little longer, the increase in the interest in these cars is just starting. The number of people looking for 968's on this forum is amazing compared to just a few years ago.

Btw, any relation to Dick Mann? One hell of a motorcycle racer back in the day, and a true gentleman as well.
