The second one is listed as "Royal Indigo", but I swear it looks like Amethyst Metallic.

That is F9 Amethyst. Interesting seeing it paired with black. Usually you see it with magenta which can be a bit much. Although they made 21 amethyst cabs only 2 have black top/interior combo.

The other cab is G7 - Coral red, one of 10, one of 5 with the black interior/top.

Both are great looking colors/cars, but both are tips as well. They seem too cheap for the condition.

Prices have been dropping for our cars and i don't think they have hit rock bottom yet. Its as good as it is bad. Bad for owners, good for potential owners.

Only bad for owners if they plan on ever selling it!

Very True. But lower transaction prices also means that the car has a greater risk of being declared as a total loss in the event that you have an accident where the reapir bill exceeds 60% of the vehicles value.

A guy i knew had his 944 Turbo totalled due to a very minor fender bender that required a new fender & hood (literally nothing else).

Exactly why I got a stated value policy for $25K.

Great point Fox, and, like Jay I've done the same .. ( well mine is insured at $ 35K because the premium was dirt cheap, so I went as high as they were willing to go on a 968 )

Haha, very true, for me it isn't so much the money as the time I've put into it, Just like the Triumph TR6 I'm just finishing restoring...I can't imagine it will be worth more than 20,000 in this market, but in time, and sentimental value it's priceless. I'm always guarding my rear view mirror when I drive, worrying that someone else's careless mistake will ruin all of my work...
