The suspension is actually pretty advanced, maybe more so then the 968. It was the first to incorporate the weissach rear suspension that turns into the corners. It is a heavy car, but if you actually push it into the corners it is surprisingly very stable and happy. On a twisty mountain road with lots of turns the 968 would be my preference because of it's lightness and lighter steering compared to the 928. But take it out on roads with load sweepers and the 928 would be more then happy to go thru those corners well into the triple digits, it was designed for the autobahns and going thru those autobahns corners at high speeds.
