Ditto,

Because of this site and it's contributing members - esp Flash & Pete. It has been a great learning experience for me. In a short while, my car will undergo a transformation to make an already great car - even greater, thanks to these guys and this site. Flash's SC is on it's way in a couple of weeks, as well as some suspension and exhaust upgrades from RSB to compliment the additonal HP and Torque - I can hardly wait!!!

thanks guys

one of the things i have noticed lately is that the threads being started are much more diverse than in the past - people are getting into all kinds of stuff now - it's no longer just the stuff about wheels and such you see on the other sites - this really goes a long way toward making a searchable database for posterity

good on ya guys - keep it up

Actualy, I just got back from Mars, and they're pretty impressed too. So that makes it the best 968 resource in our Galaxy.

This site has become part of my morning routine (along with the coffe and the paper)... well... maybe also part of my mid-day routine... ok... my evening routine...
All kidding aside, this forum has been great in assisting me with the care for my 968.
Keep up the good work!

For me, this Forum is to the 968 what iTunes is to the iPod. The iPod is a great device but without iTunes it is only half as good. The 968 is a great but generally unloved Porsche. However, linked to this forum you get to deal with people that are pasionate about the 968 and you learn all kinds of things that make the car a little better each time you work on it.

In short, without this forum I would have moved on to a different Porsche long ago.

The cult following developing in the Netherlands is alsovery nice to see.

The down side? This is my seventh Porsche and because of this forum I have spent more money on chips, exhausts, plugs etc. than on any other car before. This place really feeds my addiction and the jury is still out on wheather this is a good thing or not.

Interesting that you use the word "addiction". That is what my wife and (22 year old) son have been "accusing" me of lately. But I agree... this site has helped me in viewing my 968 with "different eyes"! I still am working on convincing a few freinds and a brother-inlaw to make the move and get a 968, so that it becomes a "bonding" tool amongst us. Wise idea? Who knows... they might end up with a problematic car, and then I would get the blame!

Another great reason to be a part of this sight Jake. Will help you identify what to look for and where to bring it for a ppi....this way your friends & family can avoid getting a problematic car.
