From the same website - is this a 968 front end (maybe just the 'wings' and headlights) grafted to a 964? This was a factory option?

Here's the car in question on the left, with a 993 for comparison:

I kinda like the groove in the middle of the hood that leads to the air intake in front of the windshield - I always thought that would look good on our cars.

The mint green 968 cab in Europe has a marine blue interior. I have pictures of a Orange 996 with a cedar green interior. They sold a 92 cab here in the US that was rubystone red (pink) with a magenta (purple) top and a magnenta/light gray interior.

How are those?

Bombfactory:

The slant nose 964 is the ultimate Porsche IMO. Known as the "flachbau" 911 it is among the rarest of all Porsches ever made. Michael Jordan and other extreme celebrities were among the very select few that could afford the $160,000+ pricetag.

Check out the following web site to learn more about the uber rare flachbau 911:

Thanks for the info - I love discovering stuff about these cars I wasn't aware of before! The 964 slant does look cool, but overall, I think the 968 is better looking. I don't like the hood-to-bumper transition on the Flachbau, and the chunkiness of the front bumper cover (is it a modified 968 piece?) looks too big for the 964. The front side marker lights also seem too big and clunky, I think they cleaned things up nicely on the 993 tho. Of course I should reserve judgment until I see one of these things in the metal!
