i've been a little preoccupied lately
#1

just in case you have noticed that some things have been neglected and such, i've been a little busy lately - for the last couple of weeks i've been in italy - spent a few days in rome, a week at a villa in siena, and did the whole "married in the siena piazza" thing yesterday - both of us still alive - lol - in florence at the moment, headed for venice tomorrow to spend a couple of days at the danieli

back in a few days and can get back to updating and upgrading the site - many new things to add to continue to maintain this as the best 968 site in the world

ciao

Yes, congrats. The wife and I LOVE Italia. She's been twice, the second time with me... both times she was unable to get in the Sistine Chapel. So we decided that we would renew our vows in Italy someday. And then maybe she'll get in. But "our place" is Lucca. Just inland from Livorno/Tirennia... B-E-A-Utiful place. Argh. Now I wanna go to Italy.

Thanks!

Married in Sienna? So it was more than just a vacation, huh? That's great news! Congratulations!

We'll be in Florence on Tuesday -- don't drink up all the wine in town! I think our itinerary basically involves going where you and Ayn have gone, but one week behind. Enjoy your honeymoon!

It was my pleasure to announce your nuptials at the Hershey Gathering, so glad that you called the Tech Session so that we could all applaud and congratulate you and Ayn.

Looking forward to celebrating with you in person in just 3 weeks.

Congratulazoni, a tu e tuo miglio. Being an Italiano my wfie and I have been to Italia 4 times. Siena is one of our favorites. We spent 4 days there at the Villa Scacciapernseri overlooking the Centro. Just for clarification Siena has only one N.

CONGRATS!!!

Italy is a wonderful place for such a life-changing event. Good choice.

My son is getting married at his home in NJ over Memorial Day weekend, and then they're going to honeymoon in Italy. Besides their time in Rome and Florence, he's going to tour the Maserati factory (he owns two) and drive with the Maserati team on their test track (this was a gift from his business partner). I'm jealous!

thanks to all - almost hopped a plane to hershey though - i had standby plans, but it just got to be a bit nutty here and it just didn't work out

cosimo - thanks - not sure why i keep doing that - i have to correct myself every time

it has been fun here, and in between raindrops we've had a blast - looking forward to being home though - we didn't get the car we wanted and reserved MONTHS in advance, and ended up not being able to do the "top down sporty cruise of northern tuscany and the lake area" that we wanted, so we are actually cutting our trip short to return and get back to work - we will return next year to pick up where we left off
