I think I found the perfect lift
#1

I read something about a Carrera GTs service today, and even though I found it interresting I was way more impressed by the lift used by the shop. I think this is the perfect lift for home use, but I have no idea which brand it is and what it costs. Any ideas?

PS: As far as I know this is a US workshop

Looks like a small mod to the garage floor is required. That's a tough one here in SoCal with our post-tensioned construction (quake friendly). Apparently if you cut into this stuff it explodes, or something like that.

Luckily we don't have to worry about that here in the Netherlands, being swallowed by the sea on the other hand...

I have not been able to find any info on this lift yet, but the hunt continues.

Hi Johann, take a tour at http://www.autec.nl/. And you will find close to home what you need.

Anyone know where to get these in the US? I've looked around and can't find anything that is flush to the floor like that one.

These are flush mounted and the same style as above. They might be a little overkill for the 968 though. http://www.mohawklifts.com/consumer/pl355075.php

Those lift from the wheels, not from the lift points. Thanks though, I missed those.

I would love to have one that is flush, that way you don't lose any usability of the garage space.

Getting closer, this is flush mount, but looks like it's only good for taking the tires off. The lifting height is only 29 inches. http://www.gesusa.com/ProductDetails.asp...ode=120206

I'm sure this one would work sunken. http://www.gesusa.com/BendPak-SP-7X-Scisso...ft-p/120212.htm

Check harbor freight. They have some decent cheap garage lifts.
Not the best, but cheap and great for DIY'er.

Banditsc...your second lift suits the bill perfectly, but it is quite expensive. But then again the one Unknown4U shows goes for 6k....ouch!
