Congratulations to me, I now own a 1993 968 6 speed coupe. GP White with tan interior.
I've been studying these cars since they were 944s, now I finally have one a month before my 38th birthday.
Feels good....

Mirror -
It's a beautiful day! Congratulations on your 944S3 <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> You are going to love it, not that you don't already.
Details please! VIN, miles, who did your PPI, where did you find it...all that. Most of all, a picture!
Best wishes,
Buzz

Indeed, that's pretty much the whole story there in a nutshell. Add to that:
Josh lives 3 miles from Rob's front door.
I couldn't have scripted it any better.
Thanks to Josh, and happy birthday to me! It is in very good hands.

[quote name='Josho' date='Apr 14 2006, 09:58 AM']Not to Hijack the thread but the story goes like this...
Rob wants 968.
Josh Has 968.
Josh is just a kid that should own a house before he has the sweetest ride on this planet.
Rob buys Josh's 968.
Josh is sad, but will have another one within a couple years.
So sorry to jack your intro thread and make it my outro. I want to thank you all for your help and posting such valuable information. This is the greatest car I have ever driven and at least when I handed the key over to Rob I knew he would take good care of her. I will be back cruising the canyon's with you guys again but for now I'll stick to muddin in my beater 4x4.
PS. Bob and Dave this community needs the both of you, so Kiss and make up.

Heh heh, its a long story but it the loose english translation of my original internet handle from the Wine boards, "Der Spiegel". The genesis of
that was from my days living in Switzerland in the early nineties, and one evening drinking lots of beer with lots of Germans. Another long story!
Cheers,
