Probably, but it is the only silver cab model I have found. These things are stupid expensive too....what is it with these cars?

i don't know what you are talking about. i find these cars relatively inexpensive, compared to other cars i was looking at. that's one of the reasons i bought it. it only cost me $28.5k to get in. at the time i figured to spend nearly $50k getting it set up the way i wanted. that was still a LOT less expensive than other options. while i have spent $160k getting the car the way i want it, i could replicate it for about $60k, and still be way better off than any other option.

You must be wealthier than I am. I run a non profit trying to bring a vintage flying C123 Fairchild Provider to our area..Got a spare 30K to donate for a write off?

Seriously - 40 bucks for a tiny little model of my car - what WAS I thinking - lol

lol - i understand that one. i'm busy putting together a pilot budget right now for a show i am working on. at basically $50k per pilot, with them not going anywhere, it adds up in a hurry, and seriously eats into my toy budget. the constant remodeling doesn't help either. we've dropped about $150k in the last year or so alone.

i've popped more than $50 for some really rare 968 memorabilia. actually, the wife did it for me. she's the ebay queen. one of these days i'll take a picture of the collection. it takes up a whole wall in the garage mahal. i'm definitely nuts.

I have a space artifact and astronaut collection with some aircraft memorabilia that takes up my entire office. It has been a seven year long obsession.
