Changed my signature text the other day, the non-HTML part, and now every time I post the first line which has HTML in it shows up as tags and not as my original marked-up [size="4"][color="#000080"]Dave[/color][/size]. Any hints?

that's because colors and font changes are not allowed in signatures, just as images and links are prohibited - this is to keep them clean, uniform, and not take up a lot of space, which would make it harder to read the site

I guess it has always worked before until I changed it under the new forum software and it was finally caught?

could be - there are a few that haven't been fixed yet - i catch the odd avatar here and there that is the wrong size too - lots of stuff to pick up still
