I've got one. The registry shows 9 cabs and 8 coupes. It looks like about 30% of the US cab production is listed, it's not clear how many coupes are there. The full breakdown by year and vin is in there as well; www.968register.org and look on the related info page. Mine is 1994 #650 (last part of the vin)

In the works, I'm just about done with MY 1992 and they didn't make a single iris blue coupe yet Hopefully by the end of the year.

Hey Sam, thanks for the link. Looks like a great car, though it does not appear to be an M030 ( and it should be, at that asking price.. ) Also, I'm not crazy about blue dash / blue trim interiors... a two tone black and classic grey would definitely get my attention, but light grey ( it seems that it is the light version ) with blue dash.. not a chance.

Nice car but that is a lot of money for a coupe. The interior is marble gray/midnight blue. That is what they called the lighter color gray in 94.5-95. It is not the best match with Iris, still a rare color.

Dan,

Yea I saw that it wasn’t an M030 but it does have LSD and with the new options for suspension upgrades I figure you could upgrade and get as good if not better than M030 handling with new parts not the 15+ years old stock – Of course I’ assuming you are planning on driving the wheels off it eventually and not going to wrap it in plastic and only bring it out only for shows . As to the interior color – I actually don’t mind the deviated blue carpet and light grey look. Of course the upper dash, steering wheel and shifter would need to be changed to black….

Price as always is negotiable and I would expect it to come down once it’s been out for a while - can’t imagine anyone paying that much even if it only has 47k on it – that’s more than I paid for my coupe over 6 years ago and it had under 18k …

while i'm not wild about blue interior, and the price is high, that is a very clean looking car from those shots

Wow, pretty rare. Of course that exclusivity does absolutely nothing to the value of the car vis-a-vis any other 968 ( all else being equal ), but at least it lessens the chance I'll end up parking next to an identical 968 during any given trip to the grocery store

Well this is encouraging. I did not think there were many Iris cabrios around. Sure there are not many but it's not like it's only 5 or something.

My supercharged car is an Iris Blue cab and I really love the color, however the car itself is not in very good shape and probably too far gone for me to bother fixing up. I expect to move the SC to my other car and get rid of the blue car, then hope to find another Iris or other blue cab that is in great shape to settle on. My brother's cab, the status of which is currently unknown, is Cobalt blue and while striking it's a bit flash for my taste.

My cab has the gray/blue interior and blue top which I am also not wild about. If I rehabbed it I might go to linen interior and blue top. Not sure. It would also look OK with cashmere interior I think.
