How about a "diary" section?
#1

I would like to start a thread where I chronicle the progress, history, modifications, etc. of my new cab.

Is there any merit in starting a specific section which is dedicated to this? I am thinking that each owner can start a thread to which only he/she can post (like the classifieds) where he/she just provides periodic updates, to-do lists, status, etc. For me, this would be a good way to keep everyone posted on the car and it would also help me keep track of what I have done versus what I want to do, and things like that.

Sort of like a diary for your 968...

Whaddaya think?

You could do that in the Blog section on here, http://www.968forums.com/index.php?autocom=blog

lol - that would be a good one - lots of space and ease of organizing your "tale of tow"

"Tale of tow"...I like that, thanks.

If you move it, I only ask that you make sure I know where/how to find it.

lol - no worries - i think i'll just have the individuals start the blogs, and build them as they go - not sure i want to "move" anything - i'm going to put some thought into that today, but there are a couple of threads that are getting a little silly with photos, and they would be better in a blog section and gallery
