Hi from New Zealand
#1

Hi, I'm George.

I'm in Auckland, New Zealand and race a '92 968 in Targa events with my wife as navigater and circuit race in our local club series.

I run a short ratio gearset and Porsche Motorsport LSD, a 964RS pressure plate on an RSBarn single mass flywheel. Motor is stock but chipped with forged Carillo rods and baffled sump for longevity.

Suspension is all double adjustable custom valved Konis with spherical bearings.

Inside, its Racetech seats, 5pt harnesses, removeable MOMO wheel and an AIM MXL datalogger digital dash.

Couldn't help myself, so she's got a TRS rear wing and front splitter

For a road car, I've got a 944 turbo Silver Rose

Welcome. You may recall we met when I had my white MO30 spec 968CS when working in NZ and you took me for a ride-it helped get me hooked. I now have it in Oz, have spent a lot of time getting up to race speed in my driving, and am competing in the Porsche Club championship in it here, doing the 968 drivers proud too! http://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_ns...ntscore_ytd.xls

The events are both track and motorkhana type events. Car has a few mods on the way (suspension going to Koni 28 series, all bushes etc. Looking at a t further diet soon-lexan etc). It is a great car. Good to see you posting George.

Hi Mark -

it was a pleasure contributing to you demise, I relish every opportunity to turn people to the dark side and racing their Porsches

Stone chips and tyre snot are hadges of honour that all garage queens can aspire to.

I'm back out here today for driver training (mental note: put balls in back pocket or somewhere else safe) and organising the club sprints at Taupo in September.

Not fully back up to speed after my cancer surgery but definitely egging others on

Take care and enjoy

George
