On Monday this week our club had a track day at Wannerroo Park Raceway in Perth Western Australia. I've only had my car a few months and this my first track outing in it.
All i can say is what an awsome car they are. Mine is a 94 with CS suspension and 17" cup rims. THere were about 30 cars there and i expected to be blown away by some of the more modern machinery but this wasn not the case. My 968 stayed with some pretty hot machinery and was just fantastic in its balance and overall performance. the brakes help up remarkable well too. I had a ride later in a 966 GT3 and yes it was fantastic but when i think about it the performance of my old car was extroadinary. I'm heading up to the track again on the 20th with Porsche Australia for their track day. I have a radio show for our local national station called Motormouth and you can pick it up if you google 720 6wf Perth Radio. I stream live on WEdnesday Mornings at 10am Perth Time. i did some in car commentry and it was pretty good. Can anyone tell me how to introduce my self on this Forum?
