Boxsters are great cars, but there's just too meny of them, but second hand sports car big bang for bucks. 964's are great cars, I used to drive a 964 cab, and still miss the noise and direct feel of that car. My 993 is just a tad too civilised in the noise department for my liking. Newer 911s even more so, and I do not have experience with earlier cars. The 968 cab I have is very different to the 964 (or the 993 for that matter). A lot more comfortable, less noisy (wind, road, and engine) and more practical, but also slower and less "sporty". For a long drive, I would use the 968 any day, for a spirited drive on a mountain pass, good as the 968 is, the 911 is more fun..
