Hello from the UK
#1

Hello!

Thanks for letting me join.

Im based in the UK with a black 968 cab.

Its been a bit of a project and off the road for the last 5 years whilst I attended to numerous items, such as replacing the fuel lines, sorting calliper plate lift, suspension refresh etc.

This week it finally rolled out the garage for the first time in a long time.

Thanks again for the add.

Paddy

I would like to point out it’s not been 5 solid years, there has been breaks and other issues,

But I watched the video of it starting after standing for 4+ years, not one rattle tappet, sounded sweet as a nut, not many other engines would be like that

Seeing as its St Pats day, you can even hear the faint drone of some bag pipes!! Otherwise known as a disconnected vacuum line Wink

So... way off topic , but one of my favorite bagpipe jokes of all time ( yes, there are bagpipe jokes ) . And unfortunately I must condense the whole story , but here we go .

A guy walks into a musicians hangout bar carrying an octopus under his arm . The bartender tells him he can't bring that thing in there, but the guy insists it's a very special octopus who can play any instrument known to man.. Musician after musician hand the octopus their guitars, saxophones, accordions, violins , ,trumpets, and others let him play the piano, drums and everything else in the bar, as they watch in total amazement how accomplished he is at playing all of those . A Scottish lad watching all this from the back of the bar, finally brings his bagpipe over and hands it to the octopus . The octopus keeps staring at it , and staring at it , and staring at it , for what seems like an eternity .. The octopus' owner turns to him and says : " What's the matter , you don't know how to play this ?! " The octopus replies ( yes, it's a talking octopus also ) : " Play it ?! I'm just trying to figure out how to remove its pajamas , so I can f**k it ! "

;-)

Well, I do beg forgiveness ..it was St.Pat's day and I did celebrate by having a couple of shots of Irish whiskey which made sharing / posting the story a little easier ..

Hope you don't try to blame me for that diversion. Don't they have the thing called the ME TOO movement out in your sunny state? Did he ever figure out how to take the jammies off?
