Hello from the old continent
#1

Hello everyone,

I am about to acquire a 968 convertible!
It is a car that I have always found prettier in convertible than in coupe ....
I have had a Porsche 996 coupe for some time now
I completely renovated the 996 over 2 years
and I want to relive the same experience with the 968
I really liked those moments....
The 968 is not very common in Europe, most of the production crossed the Atlantic, so I am registering to glean some information and share my experiences as the work progresses

Thank you for your welcome!

MV6,

Welcome & enjoy!

Well, 968s aren't very common anywhere. While Porsche isn't completely forthcoming with import numbers, the closest numbers available for 968 Cabriolet imports to North America (Canada, USA, and Mexico) is 2,008 (some sources say 2,248). Spread out over 5 years of production, that's a very small total. Compare that to 996 imports.

Enjoy your 968 and remember that everyone can own a Porsche, but not everyone can own and drive a 968.
