Hello From Shippy
#1

Hi All,

I am looking at becoming a 968 CS owner, so any pointers you may have i am happy to listen and learn. I do like porsches in most of their guises as i am lucky enough to currently have a 1972 911S and a Boxster 2000S, i am currently looking to add to the collection or replace the boxster. I have seen their is quiet a few comparisons between the 968 and boxster so any first hand experience i am to listen too. The 968 CS i am looking at has about 100000k on it and owner has kept all the original parts he has upgraded and are included in the sale. I am a keen driver all my cars so the idea is to make the 968 a regular driver which as has a bit of get up and go. Looking at the car hopefully early next week so let you know the update as to my first drive.

Thanks in advance for all your help and advice

regards

Wow, a '72 911S. That was my dream car when I was in college. I was searching for one for a long time (that was decades before the internet), but never found one. A very cool car in its day.

The 968 will be a great addition to your stable. They are amazing, very well rounded and versatile cars, capable of everything from daily driver to kid hauler to track car extraordinaire, depending on your desires. Best of luck with the purchase.

Hello Shippy, and welocome,

Since the CS was not available in the US, there are many of us who are anxious to know more about your car.

This is the place on the web to find all the information you need to keep the 968 running in top condition.
