hello from PA
#1

Hello,

I have owned a red '92 coupe for 6 years now. I was active in the 968 community a fews years ago but due to other projects have not spent much time with the car. I want to get involved again and recently started to enjoy "spirited drives" all over again. I currently have a problem with my clutch which is what lead me to this forum.

My car has 33K miles and just the other day the clutch felt funny. After a few shifts it stayed bottomed on the floor and would not return. I was able to reach down and pull it back up. After that it had considerably more travel than it did before but worked fine. I checked the fluid and the level is fine. I plan on searching for a thread once I gain access to the other forums.

thanks,

Dave Erdman

welcome welcome

your clutch issue is probably a high pressure hose ballooning - very common - call pete at rs barn

Hi Dave,

Welcome!

Hershey seems to be a hot bed of low mileage Red Coupes (see Don Hassenbein - Red Baron).

Your trouble could be something as simple as the need to lubricate the clutch fork. It might also be hoses, Slave or Master.

Looking forward to more involvement from you.

Regards,

Jay
