New member from Arizona
#1

Hello all, I am a new member from Peoria Arizona (N/W Phoenix). New to forum and new to Arizona (2 weeks), formerly of Orange County, CA. I bought a cashmere on Black cabriolet about a year and a half ago from a Dr in La Jolla, Ca. He had taken extremely good care of the car and had thousands of dollars in recent receipts. I have to admit that even though I consider myself somewhat of a motor head, I knew nothing about the 968 before I bought it. I liked it because of its unique styling and being an affordable modern sports car. It has been exciting to drive and very reliable to date. The only problem I have had was on my trip out here to Arizona. After the top had worked perfectly since I bought the car I was putting it up at a pit stop and snapped the driver side main top bow. Major bummer. The good news is that I was able to source one at a very reasonable price. Now I just have to install it and will be good as new (I hope). I really love this car so am excited to join the forum and learn more about it.

Welcome! There are a really cool set of 17" wheels for sale in Peoria on CL, if you are looking for something other than stock. Also, you may want to check out the posts here on making the top manual to limit the strain on the top bows.
