Hello from Belgium!
#1

Hello 968 enthousiast,

I've just bought myself a nice 968 coupe in Luxemburg. Now the wait is on to get the car imported and registered in Belgium.

Previously I've owned a Saab 900 Turbo. I hope my 968 will give me as much smiles per gallon as the Saab gave me.

I'll post pictures when I have permission.

Regards,

Koen

Welcome.   And yes, where are the rest ..?!   Philippe ( aka Bulti )  in particular,  from whom we haven’t heard in ages ..

p.s . and having driven a Saab 900 turbo ( second generation ..1997 I think , it was a company car )  for about a year , I can tell you categorically that you’re moving into a completely different “smiles per mile” league with the 968.   There’s not even the slightest comparison, it’s a night and day difference, IMO.

Enjoy !

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I'm having a hard time registering the car in Belgium because the VIN ID plate pn my car is missing. My 968 was originally delivered in japan and apparently the japanese cars came without ID plate.

I've ordered an ID plate at the local Porsche dealer. Now the waiting game is on.

In the mean time I'm refurbishing a set of cup 2 wheels to reclace the 16" cup 1's.

Should be stamped in the firewall, behind on the right hand side of the firewall, if it has the rear engine cover or cruise they will be hiding it
