Hello From Belgium!
#1

H! My name is Yves from Antwerp in Belgium. I will be driving to Germany in a couple of weeks to pick up either a 968 convertible or a 964 convertible. Still debating what to get. Hope to get some great info here on the board!

Well the 968 is the better looking of the two and nobody will know what it is. Hope you make the right decision. [Image: laugh.gif]

Hey DaveN, the 964 is the code for the 911 built from 1990 tot 1992.

But anyways, decision was made: this morning I bought a mint condition 968 Convertible. Cobalt blue, dark blue leather interior. It's a 1993, it only has 79.000 km and it looks absolutely new. Full device history, just had new belts placed, etc, etc, etc,... I bought if from a true car lover who also had a Ferrari 355 in the garage, a Mercedes E63 AMG, Subaru Impreza,... He had bought the car because it was pure nostalgia as his mother had also owned one, but the car the been in a garage and it has rarely been driven in the last years.

I'll post up some pics as soon as I pick up the car. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Yves - Gotta love the Internet, you can't actually see sarcasm <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> I know what a 964 is, just pulling you leg hence the "wink" <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Glad you went the 968 route, this forum is pretty much useless for 964's <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Yes, I got the irony just when I posted but couldn't find the edit button... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'm very happy with the 968. A foot of snow here now, but can't way for spring so I can take her out. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
