Hello from a (hopefully) future 968 cab owner

Hi. Although I'm new to this forum, I've been a member of various automotive forums for probably 25 years. That said, I've got a line on a 968 cabriolet (6 speed) for sale and wanted to connect with this community to hopefully learn a bit about the cars and share stories and experiences if I end up buying it...and I really hope the purchase goes my way as I've wanted a Porsche for years and the 968 seems like a perfect fit for me and my wife. She'll be giving up her Miata as we won't need 2 roadsters in the house... If I needed to ask some basic questions about things to look for with the 968 (quirks, common issues, basic questions to ask the owner before buying), which sub-forum would be best to ask those questions? I'm hoping to get a closer look and a test drive next week.

Cant really compare a MX5 to a 968, totally different animals

And the 944 is a step back even further

The only way forward really if your in the market for a Porsche convertible with a roof right down is the boxster (cough)

Did you try raising the drivers seat up, I know a 55 lady that drives a 968 tip cab no problem, got 12mm boosters under the seat rails
