Brand New Member--Last Tuesday I purchased a 1994 Porsche
#1

I'm new to the 968 Forum and to Forums in general so please forgive a few mistakes.  I just purchased a 1994 Porsche 968 and have been having a ball learning to drive the car.  My hobby for the last 35 years has been vintage racing. Over the years, my race cars included a 1962 Lotus 7,1955 Cooper Bobtail,1967 McLaren M-4, 1962 Cooper Formula Jr. and a 1961 Lotus Formula Jr.  I also during those years owned a 1974 Porsche 914 Ltd. Edition which I drove for more than 100000 miles as a daily driver.  After restoring the 914 it was sold to a Porsche collector in Vancouver, B.C.

My new to me 968 can be described as follows:

Very nice 1994 Porsche 968 coupe with 6 speed manual transmission,  fully serviced and set up.

Guards red exterior, black interior with almost 130k miles (under 6,000 miles/yr average). Clean carfax

M030 front and rear sway bars with new poly bushings

OS Giken limited slip differential

Brand new timing belt, rollers, front engine reseal.  No leaks, no issues.

water pump just replaced

new Koni sport shocks front and rear with adjustable coil overs on front

Camber plates

new power steering and alternator belts

shock tower brace

new brakes front and rear

alternator and power steering rack replaced recently.

Interior is excellent, no cracks

Exterior is straight, no dings or dents

Paint is good, some minor chips.

Brand new Bridgestone RE71R tires

17” factory cup wheels

Updated stereo, also have original

This car runs and handles like a dream, everything works and it will only appreciate in value from here as they didn't make a lot of them. This car won't disappoint. I am the third owner and an active PCA member.

I posted a picture in the Forum Garage today, if you want to have a look.  I would enjoy hearing from other members and I'm looking forward to joining the PCA and having fun with a Porsche.
