Hello 968Forums.com
#1

Hi,

I have long been a fan of German automobiles, specifically Porsche, Audi, and VW. I am currently living in Augusta, GA, but I am originally from Seattle, WA. The Army likes to move me around a little bit.

I do not own a 968 currently, I am looking to see what the community is like and find out about these cars from the people who own them before I go out and look at getting myself into one. I am kinda in a toss up between a 944 Turbo (1988-1989) or a 968, so I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of each so I can decide which car is best for me.

Hello Calvin and welcome - you'll find this forum is by far the best resource on the planet for any 968 owner, should you decide to go that direction. Of course, we're all a little biased here, but I don't think you'll be unhappy with either car. 4-banger Porsches are an obsession and we've all got the bug here.

Hi Calvin. Always glad to see more Georgia members. Welcome. If you ever end us west on I-20, you're welcome to check mine out in Covington.

I might just take you up on that here in the near future, would give me a good excuse to get the Harley out and cruise down to the ATL.

Thanks for the welcome's everyone. My wife prefers the 968 to the 944 so that may influence my decision

968ers are wine swilling, womanizing horsepower freaks...in other words, you are bound to love us

Hope you make the "right" choice...

Buy a 968 cab--they're a hoot, without the risks of a turbo. Have a good hunt!
