[UB2UC4]

I am new to this forum but have been around the car forums for years. You guys have a some what unorthodox way of running your forum but whatever. It's nice to meet eveyone.

I have a black 1994 968. It's pretty standard nothing special. I live in FL right now and the 968 is out in CA with my sister. I actaully wanted to join the forum to learn a little more about the car and its quirks because I am experiencing a few [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img] . When I say I, I mean my sister and I.

Hopefully you guys/gals can shed some light and hopefully I can contribute to the knowledge base of this forum.

is your car a cab or a hardtop?

i think unorthodox depends on your point of view - in my view the other sites out there are unorthodox - on many of them it would be like going to a club meeting of your hobby, like your car, and having somebody talking about something completely different, like needlepoint - that's just rude

this one is all about the 968 - you'll find great information here, a wonderful bunch of guys, and all of it tidy and mostly on topic

It's a hardtop and in the San fran to be more specfic. I have poked around a bit and noticed there are some Bay area members. I didn't mean unorthodox in a abd way so please don't take offense just different like supporting "post whoring" which is a bit unusual.

All in all seems like the site is run very well from what I see. Thanks and i look forward to gaining access to the other areas.

Flash...Nope, Flash posts meaningful stuff, but doesn't know when to stop...

Dan (DS) posts meaningless stuff with the intent to amuse, not increase his post count...

Probably neither fits the definition...

Just watch and learn grasshopper, this is not like any other site on the web. We are cultish, unconventional and deeply committed (or aught to be), we can spend days discussing motor oil weights and torque specs...we are also friends to the end, and willing to extend our hand across the country and around the world. This site is addicting, and possibly infectious.

UB2UC4...you won't find a more passionate group of guys and as 94SilverCab states...friends to the end. Most of us share the feeling that this is a slightly different place to hang out, so don't be a stranger. Be careful your sister doesn't learn too much about the car while she has it...she may not want to give it back.

LOL. I haven't been on here in awhile. I guess the "post whore" comment was rather entertaining. Again, I didn't mean any harm by it........I am not new to forums or car clubs.
