Hello, we are new to 968 Forums We live in Salisbury, Maryland and have been a 968 owner for a couple years now. Ours is a 1993 red cabriolet and with the nice weekend that we had just turned 40k miles on it. The 968 is the most incredible car that I have ever had the pleasure of driving........ Just liek to say "Hi" to all the other 968 owners out there.......

Hi Folks,

If you hurry it is not too late to book the Hilton Hotel in Hershey for the 968 Celebration on April 23-25th. There is no better opportunity on the East coast to meet a lot of 968 owners at one time.

Check for more information under "Local Events".

Regards,

Jay

Thanks Jay for the invite. The person that got us directed to the forum sight is apparently your "master tail-gater" she spoke very well of the forum and I had to register as soon as I got home. Hers was only the third 968 that I have seen anywhere near my area. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we will able to make the trip to Hershey We were really looking forward to it and discussed the it the whole ride home only to find that one of our children has a horse show that same weekend. We definitely want to meet up with some other 968 owners very soon. I don't get drive mine that often so any excuse to get her out on the road is really anticipated. Maybe there are some other events or road trips scheduled soon..

We are a very sociable group and there will undoubtedly be many, many opportunities to meet other owners. If you time on April 10th, Darryl is having a wash and shine/picnic in Sterling, VA. There will probably be at least 5 or 6 knowledgeable owners there.

Keep checking Local Events

Hello from another Marylander.
Come on down to Darryls detail day April 10. Think of it as a mini meet.
A great way to "get your feet wet" and meet some other folks.
