Ha Ha! Bling to the max!
#1

I bought a new trim piece, thought I'd have fun with the old one and paint it Tamiya silver leaf just for fun! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Talk about bling, bling!!!!

I say Bling in a bad way. What motivated you?

Just wanted to see how it looked...I'll paint the new one black today and put it on. The new part came 'satin' (very flat black) and very smooth, no texture on it. I hope it looks good when I'm done! I'll post another pic with it finished later...

Okay, here's the new trim piece. I painted it with Tamiya semi-gloss black in a bottle, then sprayed through an air brush. I think it looks original!

Nicely done. The texture looks spot on. Will you come do my ash tray now? Its looking its age and could use a touch up.

I saw the greatest bling bling car on the way home from dinner with friends just now- its a dark green Mazda economy car with chinese dragons airbushed all over it. Quite the pimped out bling job. Its tempting to go back down the street with my camera.

BTW, I have a couple Tamiya RC Porsches that are great fun.

Porsche did offer something like that for the 968. It was an aluminum beltline. There is a photo of it in a Tequipment catalog i have.
