I'm interested in other peoples experiences.
I've tried a few extreme white H3 bulbs 100 watts in my car, I like the extra light.
All seem to last awhile, 3-6 months on average.
PIAA bulbs lasted the longest, but also the most expensive.
Anyone had particular long lasting luck with a specific brand.
Thanks.

I'm in the car no less than 2.5 hours a day, that includes at night as well. I like the higher intensity, but it appears that only the 55w last a long time. Might have to assume in the area of where these cars can cost you money, this is a small bullet. Just annoying changing them all the time.

also be aware that DOT places a maximum limit on any bulb at 55W and that most states also have a legal limit of 55W on any bulb in any light - you could get a ticket for those

Those are short life spans. I have yet to burn out a bulb in teh 68. As for the Land cruiser, I replaced them both after one blew 4 years ago. Got a 2 pack for about $40 and there still working fine. I remember they had a blue tint on them but its not noticeable when on. Seems to make the typical yellow light more white.

yeah - the ultras have a slight blue tint too - they add glare, and definitely slow the eye's reaction time down, but it is balanced by the increase in light over the horrible stock ones the denali came with - i wanted to switch to the halogen units of the standard yukon, but never did - i'm still looking for a lower wavelength light that will work in that car

the 968 is plenty bright with clean lenses, but when i had the ones that showed the classic "fogging" (that white milky look) they were sketchy

i'm probably going to switch the fog bulbs out for yellow though, to improve off axis clarity
