Hello!

 

I have a '92 968 Cab Amazon Green/Linen that I've owned for about 3 years. It was in pretty good shape when I got it and have been doing minor improvements here and there since I've owned it.

 

I decided I'd like to tackle the audio as a winter project. I have the 10 speaker setup but it sounds terrible. A previous owner installed an amp under the luggage shelf that doesn't seem to have any brand markings on it. Don't know if the dealer installed OEM one is still under the seat or not. If it is, It's obviously been disconnected. The rear speakers don't seem to be going through the amp at all. I'm looking to just replace the door speakers and see how it sounds from there. Not looking for orchestra hall acoustics or crystal clarity. I just want to be able to enjoy my music to some degree.

 

Info seems to be very scarce so I'm looking to see what others have done and understand what will fit the doors.

 

Always looking for other useful 968 info too.

Spirited audio "discussions" have taken a second place only to discussions of chips/airboxes/etc.  Do a search; you may need 3 days to read everything! But some very major improvements are possible.
