I am thinking about acquiring a 968. Due to health reasons I my have to sell my just completed 914 restoration [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif[/img] . It is a kick in the pants car to drive, but things happen. I rode in a friends 968 Cab with a tip-tronic. I as impressed. It felt similar to the 914 handling. So I need to learn about these cars. I am looking forward to the process.

Well gave the coupe the seat test. sad to say at 6'-5" didn't fit could not get left leg in hit head on the cabin top. Oh well I tried.

Interesting... I'm 6'4" and I fit fine. I have to have the seat all the way back and down (4-way power) but it definitely fits me better than my Boxster did. Granted, it's not as room as the wife's Volvo wagon but I'm surprised the 914 fits you but the 968 doesn't...

Feet and Inches [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif[/img]

I'm 1.82 mtr tall - and experienced hitting the roof when first entering the 968.

Have tried several seat-positions - but to be honoust - the perfect sit has not been found yet [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif[/img]

Perhaps it's seat dependend too .. I've the fully electric-controlable 993 type seats .... have taken them out to see if i could lower them - but that's a NOGO [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif[/img]
