FS Brand New 968 Front bumper
#1

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Selling brand new 968 front bumper. This is a brand new OEM part number 944-505-113-03 which lists for $1318. Last chance before it goes on Ebay. This part is in excellent condition, not bent or twisted, and only needs prep and paint to match your car. This unit has the cutouts for the M288 headlight washer nozzles but will work on any 968. The price is very right...

$480 plus shipping from 92647. SOLD SOLD SOLD

Very good price. My last one 2+ years ago cost me $800 shipped which I thought was a good deal. I'd buy this one to have on hand but the wife would shoot me if I get any more auto parts just stashed here.

I would like to get a new bumper cover but I don't have the headlight washers. How would a good paint and body shop fill the holes and would I be able to to tell the difference after it is done?

based on the work i had done to mine (eliminating the lower dividing rib and filling in the gap) it is seamless when done right, and impossible to see

Orphanowner,

I just sent you a PM so we can talk turkey about the bumper cover.

Flash,

Thanks for sharing the picture. Your cab looks great with the deletion of the lower cross piece and the addition of the Greimann grills.

Richard, I've been trying to get a response from you via email. Are we still going forward with this sale?

Ahh..yeah. Despite an email commitment to buy the bumper and numerous emails from me asking "what's up" that were ignored, Richard apparently backed out.

i hate that when somebody makes a verbal commitment, or worse a written one here, and then just bails - that was not how i was raised - at least have the common courtesy to say "sorry - can't do it" - i don't need explanations or anything, but just a note letting me know i can move on - stuff happens - no worries - but tell the seller

It drives away other potential buyers as well. Anyways, now I have to think about it again.... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Yeah it's disappointing when someone from this board backs out and doesn't have the courtesy to inform the seller or even answer multiple emails. I hold our little 968 community here in higher regard than what you may find other places. I've sold several 968 forum posters parts and asked for the money up front. Based on the trust established here , they sent me a check and received their parts. It's great when the system works and everyone is happy. Because of Richards commitment, I told another serious buyer that the part was sold. He has since gone another direction, and I'm left holding the bag on this one. Oh well...
