You know, jet powered or not, I never could figure out why anyone would jump of a perfectly serviceable airplane. Having had to jump out of 2 unserviceable ones in my lifetime, the thrill is definitely gone!!!

But then again being jet powered really is way cool.

I just read about that guy in the paper.

It's really cool but until another fuel sorce is discovered "jet packs" are very limited on their capabilities.

My best ride was with Flash during my party.

Now I want to upgrade my car like his.
I was having my car worked on at Ed Pimm's shop in Dublin, OH, and struck up a conversation with his assistant, Eric. Seems Eric was crewed on C130's while in the Air Force. It occurred to me that I've flown in C130's more times than I can remember, but I never actually landed in one.
Hilarious! I remember landing in a C130 on a milkrun from Northern Germany to the UK in the late 1980s and having the same realization as we landed... I had taken off in the darned things a bunch of times but that was the first time I had landed in one.

I don't think I ever landed in a C141.
