Hi I decided today, as we had dry weather to have a go at fitting the remote central looking kit that I purchased a while ago. I read up on 968 engineering.com site, and found the required bundles of capped cables to break into behind the foot well wooden unit.
Well although the positive connection was clear to find, in order to supply the remote unit with 12 volts the capped off bundle of cables, did not have the colours that I was expecting from the information taken from the web.
The wires were in two bundles, made up of three wires each. so a total of six wires to 'choose' from.
As your all probably aware, if you've done this mod, the colours required are 'UNLOCK= Brown/Red' , 'LOCK=Brown/White', and 'Door Trigger' (Ground) =Brown/Yellow.
Well On my car I have one bundle of three wires, two brown (thick), and one brown (thin) one of the browns appears to have a white dash at the top of it. (it reads as ground on my multi-meter). The other bundle of three wires are coloured as Black with a red stripe (1), Black with a white stripe, and a yellow dash on its end!, and another Black with a red stripe. All these wires are very thin gauge.
There are no other cables that I can see within the loom area.
Any suggestions would be great! thanks

Mine did not match either... but luckily I had an electrical engineering buddy who figured it out for me so I have no clue what to tell you.
Anyone else????
