Engine Cleaning
#21

I use brake cleaner. I spray some on a rag and then wipe off the grime and dirt. Seems to be a very good solvent. I am also using it on my Fiskes to clean all the "nook and crannies" then apply some Rejex.
I think i have been swayed by smokiemon's engine shine...

Hate to copy, but I can't see wasting a good idea either: the polished look will go well with new oil fill cap (ala Simuse/Mark) and still thingking of red crinkle on cam cover
Be prepared to lose your finger prints.

You may be able to find a shop to do it for you.

I was going to do my cam cover with red wrinkle finish, but decied to go with black. I have been thinking about sending my polished parts out for a red anodize finish just for something completetly different.
