So I started at the top, and welcomed the first half of one page worth of new memebers, only to realize by the time Carpal Tunnel Syndrome symptoms were setting in [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif[/img] that there are 9 or more pages of intros. .. so I stopped welcoming folks but don't want any new memners to think I'm deliberately ignoring anyone ( I'll reserve that right to some some existing members perhaps.. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img] ).

How do you guys deal with replies to new members..if we're talking about hundreds ?

lol - welcome to my world - we're having jackets made next week

it is gratifying to see so many new members, and returning old members - the activity level is staggering - the information archive here has been expanding faster than ever - clearly the word is out, and people are figuring out that this is the best place for all things 968

about 240 new or rekindled friendships since may - that's not bad

I think the coolest part of the new members and old members coming out of the woodwork is the simple fact that we're learning where all the remaining 968s are. We know they're out there, but since you don't see them very often, it's nice to know they are around. The map will be be really neat when fully populated.

'Tis. At least to the extent of the people who have supplied location info. As of today, there are 833 pins in the Members Map, out of 1,519 registered members. Roughly 55% represented. With the influx of "returners" to the Forums, I haven't been able to sit down and move pins a few city blocks so you can see all the people in the same city, but I will get on that whilst I watch some college ball this weekend.

As for the jackets ---> I think they should be Members Only jackets. Seems only appropriate. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif[/img]

As for the all the new members, I do wish they could post one picture of their car from initial membership. Sure is something to see this community which is dedicated to such a rare car grow so quickly all of a sudden.
