The fluid was almost black and the little fill device had gunk in the bottom of it.



Lots of air and dirty fluid in the system. The brakes were very spongy.

Did you use a Motive Power bleeder? Those things are the kind for bleeding the brakes and clutch.

Hey Silver....Kinda feels like I'm talking to myself. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Good job on bleeding the brakes, did you do the clutch also? I just finished rebuilding my brake calipers and bleeding them too. I built a homemade "Power Brake Bleeder" for under $15 ! (Makes it a one man job) ATE Super Blue looks cool draining thru the clear bleeder lines. If anyone wants to build one PM me and I'll put up the "How to" on the Forums. Shucks, Ya beat me to it! Mine looks just like his only without the guage. You don't really need it, you'll know if the fluid isn't flowing, and to give it a few more pumps.
