What to you think? Good deal for a matching numbers 912? Will look good next to my M030 968. Is that Minerva Blue?

Oh heck, all that car needs is a dual orbital buffer, a can of Mother's carnauba wax and you'll have yourself a showroom condition classic. Sure you may need to tighten a few bolts before you detail it, but no big deal ..

I think they put the decimal point in the wrong location as I think it is worth $39.50

Dan how could you miss it has at least 2 flat tires? And I bet it has a dead battery as well.

Oops, lack of attention to detail I guess. Ok so add a can of Fix-A-Flat, jumper cables and we're all done, right ?

I would say yes. Splitting hairs when considering a classic like that will most likely ruin one's chance of owning one, lol.

I guess a restorer could say "its an all original porsche 912. Well, every part was replaced...but it occupies the same space!" ?

i'd like the idea for an extra kilowatts of power and torque of having a flintstone hole between the steering wheel and the seat.  Beer

I'm with the other guys...  It'll buff right out.  Can you say not worth restoring?  I wonder if there are any salvageable parts?

I, for one am very happy that they included so many pictures. It will avoid any unnecessary questions about the condition of the interior/exterior/engine compartment. Any tears in the upholstery?

Didn't mention complete service history, so that might detract from the value a bit...

They state that " the engine alone is worth $ 3,500 ". WHAT engine ?! Puzzling as to whom they expect would buy that heap and for what purpose ?

just for a lark I sent an email to the seller to see how they justify a price of $3,950. I wonder what they will say

and here is their response:

Hello William,

Thank you for your inquiry. The Porsche has valuable parts still intact. Obviously it cannot be restored.
